The Sanctuary Resort offers many on-site activities as well as off-site tours arranged through our Concierge services. There's something for everyone. The Sanctuary's landscape covers over 80 acres to explore including a 1.2 miles of pristine beach and winding pathways that lead to the exotic, Guanacaste regional forests.
Let the tranquility and serenity surround you. When you're ready to move from the comfortable hammocks or have had your fill of the warm, sandy beaches or rejuvenating Infinity pool, visit the Activities Director or Concierge for a list of the wonderful, adventurous activities or site seeing options.

The Sanctuary welcomes guests and the public to dine at both of our open-air restaurants. Guests may select from our all-inclusive package or a la carte dining.

The Blue Dolphin Restaurant
Enjoy a wide-range of Latin American entrees as well as American and Italian dishes prepared with a touch of Costa Rican flare. Our menu features seasonal vegetables, fruits and organically grown ingredients whenever possible. Save room for desert as we bake sinfully delicious treats from recipes passed down through generations. Our menu also includes child-friendly options as well.
Romantic poolside dining for two can also be arranged with 24 hours notice. We'll set a beautiful table near the pool and steps from the beach. We can also arrange for a private beach bonfire under the stars with chilled champagne or other beverages.
The Blue Dolphin Restaurant is open for breakfast, dinner and special occasions.
Bogey's Hideaway Poolside Restaurant
Join us poolside for lunch or an afternoon snack. Bogey's serves sun-drenched guests laying poolside or seeking refuge in the shaded, open-air restaurant. Dine on chicken quesadillas, grilled Mahi or order a burger with French fries.
The swim-up bar is the perfect place to enjoy a mango daiquiri or cold beer, any time of the day.
